OH CANADA....MOST OF US ARE CHOOSING TO STAY HOME AND VACATION THUS DEPRIVING THE OIL COMPANIES OF THEIR DESPERATELY NEEDED ILLEGAL PROFITS!!
I WONDER IF THEY EVER REGRET THEIR STUPID DECISIONS AND THIS WAS TRULY A MAJOR GOOF UP!! $2.00 A GALLON WOULD STILL HAVE GIVEN OIL IT'S PROFITS!!
BY RAISING THEIR PRICES TOO QUICKLY AND TOO HIGH - THEY HAVE KEPT THE COUNTRY UNABLE TO RECOVER IT'S ECONOMY, BUSINESSES UNABLE TO REHIRE EMPLOYEES, WHICH IN TURN KEEPS PEOPLE FROM BUYING CARS THAT LEADS TO DECLINE IN AUTO SALES - CRUNCHING THE DETROIT BIG 3.
THEY COULD HAVE EVEN RAISED IT TO SOMEWHERE LOWER THAN $2.25 AND PEOPLE WOULD HAVE TRAVELLED MORE, BOUGHT BOTH MORE LOCAL GOODS AS WELL AS GAS AT PRICES MANY PEOPLE WOULD ACCEPT, BUT NO, THEY HAD TO BE GREEDY - THAT EXTRA QUARTER TO $.35 WAS ENOUGH TO PROVERBALY BE THE "STRAW THAT BROKE THE ARAB'S OIL CAMELS BACKS!!! HOPE THEY CAN SLEEP WELL AT NIGHT (NOT!!)
KEEP CONSERVING AMERICA - PRICES WILL DROP BACK DOWN DRAMATICALLY BEFORE LABOR DAY

We gotta like being closer to the pipelines in Minnesota. The bottom of the prices in the Twin Cities is $2.29.

Again Bull crackers, gas went down somewhere but not here. Here the majority of stations remained the same while other key stations along arterial highways went up Thursday night 10 cents to 2.96.

It seems that Canadian gasoline markets are both much less "free" and more highly taxed and regulated than U.S gas markets. Four cents a liter sounds very much like throwing out a few crumbs to the plebians!

This must be "opposite" summer -- gas prices drop a little, during a (normally) big travel holiday weekend.

Locally, gasoline prices jumped on Thursday (in anticipation of the holiday weekend?), but retreated today (probably because of decreased demand?).

Prices are going down here in Oklahoma City. I know we have $2.12 a gallon and I think we may have a few stations lower than that.

Gas prices have NOT gone down here. If anything, they've inched higher. Diesel has remained the same.

note that the average price in Cincinnati is 26cents less than a month ago.

The spike referred to was, in fact, on average in Cincy 5cents over 2 days.

Just paid $2.47 for reg. gas in southern NH. While I was pumping the station dropped prices one more cent to $2.46.

More NH stations are finally going back under $2.50 this week. It's about time!

Up 13c here locally on Wed. then down 4c on Fri. doesn't constitute much of a drop.

"... It's currently 107.2 here, or about 3.50/gallon."

Actually, it's $3.62 USD/USG.

Here, 94.9/litre = $3.21 USD/USG.
